Iberostar Dominicana, Punta Cana 09/28/2011

Our trip was great. We really enjoyed the Iberostar Dominicana. It was our first time at that resort. Loved the big pool, our room, the entertainment, etc. The weather was beautiful. We didn't want to leave. Thanks for everything.

Hi Pammy, sorry about the delay. I'm generally pretty bad at replying to emails so please don't take it personally:) As for the trip to Samana, it went really well. The weather was great; it only rained for like 30 minutes the whole week. The beach was really nice and the food was better than I expected. I didn't think it was a amazing or anything, ie. the food was too salty, but I always found something to eat....

Hotel Villa Cuba, Varadero 09/13/2011

We had a nice trip. We enjoyed greatly the ocean, the sand and the Cuban people's friendliness inside and out of our hotel. The hotel was quite empty, probably because of the reconstruction happening. It is obvious that the hotel has seen better days. The infrastructure is old and needs renovation; however, if it were new it would be impressive. Not having a functional pool in the hotel was a turn down for many....

Barcelo Colonial, Cayo Santa Maria 09/12/2011

All went well. No hurricane there; not even enough wind to get my hair out of place LOL..... Sunny and hot every day without a cloud in the sky. The water temperature was amazingly warm. It was nice and quiet as it is not the peek season for tourism of course. Had a lovely time. The only thing is that it was extremely hot (like 35 every day). Because of that and that only, we would probably not return at that time....

Iberostar Paraiso Maya, Riviera Maya 09/07/2011

We enjoyed our stay. we've been to Mayan Riviera several times in different hotels (Gran Bahia Principe tulum twice, Grand Riviera Princess, Grand Sirenis, Grand Palladium) and we were not disappointed with the Iberostar. I think the service and people were the best part. the service at the buffet and restaurants was excellent, probably the best of all resorts we went to. we were served....

The trip was excellent. Great weather, although a bit on the warm side; and beautiful locations. Shore excursions every day, with lots of walking and climbing; which helped to work off the meals... even better than last year. Though there was one woman who complained about the lack of a French pastry chef. I loved the Bauer. It's an older style hotel, as I imagine almost all the hotels in Venice are. My room was large....
